Copied
Hello - I am trying to make some changes on a file that was done by someone else. The file is telling me I am missing fonts (Helvetica Bold, Helvetica Medium, Helvetica Narrow, Helvetica Narrow Bold, Helvetica Narrow Oblique, Helvetica Oblique, Helvetica Regular and ITC Zapf Dingbats Regular). I went to adobe fonts to try to download and did not find the fonts on there. Does anyone know what to do or where I can do to purchase these fonts?
Thank you!

What you need to do, unfortunately, is secure those (likely) Postscript Type 1 fonts from the previous user's system.
You can substitute them with OpenType equivalents, with the possible exception of ITC Zapf Dingbats, which can be somewhat problematic in OpenType. But be advised that you may find anomalies if the document has lots of copy in it, and is designed with a tight copyfit like it would be for a newsletter, magazine or newspaper. A thorough proofing after substituting those fonts is necessary to preclude ugly surprises.
Hope this helps,
Randy
