Missing status bar

Dumb question. Working in inDesign and somehow I made the status bar disappear. How do I get it back?

Try these:

• Reset the workspace
• Window > Arrange > Consolidate (if your workspace window is floating)
• Resize the InDesign window 

Show a screen shot if none of these work.

Go to Window > Workspace > Reset [current workspace]. Does that fix it?

Status bar at bottom left is only visible when a document is open. It is not available under the View menu nor the Preferences.

You might try resetting your workspace to some default and if that doesnt help, you might have to trash preferences.

Since this old thread is in the InDesign forum, you should post your issue in the Photoshop forum. The two programs are engineered differently.
