I designed a 270 page document with a lot of text and images.

The publisher asked me to decrease the page widh by a few milimeters. For doing that i would like to make the margins smaller and leaving all the rest un touched.

Whats the best and neat way to do that?

Would it be acceptable to just squeeze pages - make them 9x% wide?

Otherwise - you are looking at a lot of text reflow...

Unless you can play with text's horizontal scale or tracking, spacing, etc.
