For few minutes everything was fine but soon my space key became exit button and my mouse is only drag and move my artboard. Basically I cannot work with any of my applications. I have tried unistall, install. First it started from indesign then all of the applications I use. I have tried restarting the computer. I have checked my keyboard and it look fine anywhere than adobe apps. Please help me out. I am using 2 usb s and another windows laptop to be able to do my project. I am literally burning out by this matter.

Hi Negar Tavakol,

We are sorry to hear you're experiencing issues while using the mouse and keyboard. In addition to what our experts have advised, we would also suggest you try running the app in safe mode and see if that works.

You may also try creating a new user profile and then run the application.

This is not a scripting problem, you should consult Apple, Adobe (if it's only Adobe programs that show the problem) or the company that sold you the compluter.

@Negar Tavakol

You might also run a check for malware and viruses.

I would check your connected bluetooth devices.
Make sure you only have one mouse and keyboard connected.

Thank you so much. It actually worked for a couple of minutes then again it turned back to the problem. I'm wondering if this is a Mac problem? and if it is, is it software or hardware?

I have just purchased Mac Studio M1 and based on others' suggestions I needed to check with apple. Should I exchange the Studio with a new one?

Running it in Safe Mode is a test because to see if PS works when nothing else is running. Another application may be causing your issues — it could even be a browser. Go to the Start Ups and see what you have running when you first boot up. It's a bit of elimination to see what is causing the issue.

You said it's a new Mac, but did you migrate your applications or do clean installs?
