Liebe Community,

Gerd

Hi @gerdk15993750

Thank you for reaching out and reporting the issue. To assist us in our investigation, could you kindly provide a screenshot of the error and a brief video demonstrating the problem? Additionally, please share the specifics of your operating system.

Is this issue specific to a particular file, or does it occur with all files? If possible, sharing a sample file would greatly aid in our investigation.

We will try our best to help.

Hi Harshika, good morning,
my original text from yesterday was:

Dear Community,
after yesterday’s update from InDesign 18.5 to InDesign 19.0 the following “error” occurred:
With version 18. 5 and earlier versions, there was always an exact double-sided display on the PC screen when scrolling page by page, namely exactly centred. After updating to the newer version 19.5 this no longer works. Rather, the following double page is “arbitrarily” moved on the screen when scrolling forward, they are “slipped” on the display.
I have compared the various settings in both versions, preferences, side menu, etc.: I can't find any differences!
Does anyone have an idea, a suggestion for a solution? At this point, many thanks in advance!
Gerd

With the three images from InDesign 18.5, you can see that the double-sided pages are exactly centred on the monitor when changing pages (from 40-41 to page 42-43 and 44-45). This is not the case with InDesign 19.0 (?). Where the settings were different after the update, I adapted 19.0 to 18.5.

Thank you very much for helping, kind regards, and have a nice day

Gerd K.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot and elaborating on the issue, @gerdk15993750. Would you mind telling me if it's happening with all or a specific file? Have you seen the same problem on a new file created in the InDesign 19 version?

Is it possible for you to share this InDesign file with me for further investigation?

I will try my best to help.

Thanks,

Harshika
