Need multiple versions of one page within an indesign file

I need help coming up with the best way to set up a file for what I need it to do.

I'm working on a pitch deck where each rep needs one slide that is customized with their name and photo. I tried doing this via Alternate Layout, but this created masters for each of the 19 reps. It's extremely unweildy to use and the file size is huge.

Before we had a master .indd file (because we are constantly updating the contents of the rest of the deck) and then had to create 19 different versions, one for each of the reps, which also was not very efficient.

The only other idea i have is to have all the rep-specific slides in one file, but that necessitates manually exporting the deck 19 times and changing the page numbers to be exported each and every time.

Is there some easier way of doing this? I have tried searching but my search terms must not be the best because I'm coming up with very little.

Perhaps Conditional text might work better for you. Each name could have its own condition and all could be on the samer page in a single frame.

Output multiple times, changing the condition each time.
