New Document dialog is empty in InDesign 15.0.1 on macOS 10.15.1

Hi, my InDesign used to work fine and my Photoshop run out of scratch disks so I've deleted some temporary files from my laptop to free up space. Now I'm unable to create a new file in InDesign. I can open a document that I've worked on before but when I try to edit it it becomes very slow and freezes sometimes and when I try to create a new file I get a blank page like this.
I tried to uninstall the whole Adobe Cretive cloud and install it again but it did nothing.

Any ideas on how to fix this? I use the newest version of InDesign on OS Catalina 10.15.1 Screenshot 2020-01-15 at 22.46.02.png

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I'd recommend resetting the preferences of InDesign once. You may follow the steps provided on https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/setting-preferences.html

**Please note that resetting preferences will remove all the custom settings and InDesign will launch with default settings. You can also take a backup of the folders in case you want to. Location is mentioned in the article.

You may also go into Preferences > General and Turn on the Use Legacy "New Document" Dialog. I have also attached a screenshot for your reference.

Let us know if it helps.
