Since I started using the new InDesign '2024' I noticed all of my transparent vector images I placed in my working files are showing up with a white box.  This did not happen in the InDesign '2023" version of the program. Does anyone know how to fix this issue... other than scrap using '2024'and going back to InDesign '2023'?

When you import the vector file, tick the “show import options” checkbox

and when this window appears, tick this checkbox.

When you place the file, check 'Show Import Options' and make sure 'transparent background' is checked:

Does it solve the problem?

EDIT: ok i was writing this while @jmlevy was posting the same!

Thank you so much!  how easy was that?! I have been struggling with this issue for 6 months and literally copying and pasting the vector logo out of illustrator directly into InDesign. Much appreciated
