Hello all,
I am trying to initialize our old, but still very usable CS6, via the offline Activation feature on our new OS10.10.5 Mac.
But am having no luck.
The Request Code option doesn't show up after installing the software. (I have a legal serial number)
Is it still possible to get a code from Adobe?
How can I get our CS6 to work?

Why can't you activate online? AFAIK, the activation servers for CS6 are still working.
Nobody here can help you with this. You need to contact Adobe support directly but I wouldn't count on getting too much help. CS6 is 13 years old and support has long since ended.

It's been awhile, so I cannot say for certain the Offline Activation approach still works, so...
When you say "doesn't show up", what did you do so far to instigate the Response Code? If you tried the online activation first and that did not work, you should try initiate the response Code approach by disconnecting from the Internet first.
Also, I believe there is a time-limit for offline activations, (7-days? https://exception.licenses.adobe.com/aoes/aoes/v1/t1?locale=en)
Anyway, I did just check and the Offline Activation page appears to be still active (you do need to sign in to your Adobe Account to access it).
What did you use to install CS6? Media? If you had properly registered your CS before, there should be a download link to the latest offline installer in your "Products" section in you Adobe Account.
You also have to consider, if you had previously installed CS6 on your two maximum installs, CS requires you deactivate at least one to be able to activate a new one. FWIK Adobe no longer has any way to reset activation limits.
