Still newby here....
I want to important images to my ID document but they are always in a container which drives me crazy when i want to move them or resize them. Can I import or place them without the whole container thing....
thank you

No.
What sort of problems are you having? Most likely you simply need a bit more explanation on how to use the two types of selection tool, their behaviors and how to use the modiifier keys with them.

And please tell us your version of InDesign and OS -- there are som OS related issuesthat cropped up recently, particularly with a Windows 11 update.

Which arrow are you using?
One is for selecting container - the other one is for selecting contents.
How / where do you click to select "image" before you move it?

There are two possibilities for why you are moving only the image and not the container.
First, you are using the Direct Select tool (hollow, outlined arrow) which selects only the contents of the frame if you click on the image.
Second is that you are clicking in the center of the image and the Content Grabber donut (looks a lottle like the center spot in and SLR viewfinder) thats a "special" feature to allow you to reposition the image using the regular selection tool. You can develop the habit of not clciking the center, or turn off the Content Grabber in the View > Extras menu.
Hiding it with no files open will set the default to hide it for all new files, with a file open for just that file. Many, if not most, default settings work this way.

Images can't exist on their own - they need a container.
By default, if you place or drag&drop image without anything selected - InDesign imports image into a Rectangle.
But you can create an oval - and when it's selected - you can place image into it.
