Pop-up "can't open file. You may not have permission..." appears when opening some InDesign files

Hello,

 

I've had this problem for quite some time now, ever since InDesign 2022. Today I found out some coworkers don't have this problem, others do. I hope I can explain properly, as my InDesign is in Dutch.

 

We work from a joined server and when I try to open certain InDesign files, InDesign gives a pop-up saying "Can't open this file. You may not have permission or file is already opened" (mind you, nobody else is working in the files at that moment). When I click OK the file does not open. When I try to open the file for a second time, it does open. No pop-up. Just opens normally.

This problem does not occur with every InDesign file I try to open from the server, making it a bit random. I tried opening files from my desktop, and this problem does not occur when opening files from my desktop.

I tried deleting my InDesign cache and reinstalling InDesign. No succes. 

Working directly from my desktop and then copying back to the server is not a great solution either, as everyone of my coworkers are working from the joined server and everything (links, fonts etc.) are saved on the server. With some projects there are many revisions so not ideal to copy back and forth from server-desktop either.

I hope I explained everything clearly regarding this problem I am facing.
