Hi Everyone,
I'm prepareing a report for Print and Online use.
My PDF file for online has all its hyperlinks interactive.
But client wants to have a solution for print!
In this project I'm already using footnote and don't have more room to add the hyperlinks as footnote as well.
So do you guys have any other solution to fix this issue?!
Use conditional text to insert a nicely formatted link (in brackets, say?) after the relevant link text. Enable that text only for the print export.
These links can be simplified for human use, since they will have to be typed in.

Many tnx for your reply.
Do you mean to have the short URL inside the same text box next to its text?!

Yes, just put it in the running text, using formatting to keep it tidy and inconspicuous. Leave off things like the prefix.

It's one way. If you're concerned about meeting any kind of standard, you'd have to look at what the various style manuals recommend. CMS and MLA are very formal (and even today, don't quite get how to handle this online stuff). The NYT guide is more modern and less formal.
But if you're just out to do the job, neatly, and don't want to put the links in foot or end notes, any variation of what I described will be accepted by most readers.
We don't really have any good standards for going "backwards" to print for this stuff.
