Printing second page upside down and reverse?

New Here ,
Aug 28, 2017 Aug 28, 2017

Hi,

So I managed to create the template for a 3 way booklet with instructions i found for guideline margins on line

now my question is how do I make the second page print upside down and in reverse so I don't have to lay out these pages upside down and in reverse themselves?

reverse order not such a pain but the upside down I can't find any options for it

thank you!

You can rotate the objects on the page/spread so that they are upside down, and then rotate the spread in the Pages panel when you need to edit the page. Also note that text always appears in the normal orientation when you edit in Story Editor.

To rotate a page or spread:

  1. Select the page/spread in the Pages panel
  2. Right click the page/spread > Page Attributes > Rotate Spread View
  3. Clear rotation when complete by right clicking the rotation icon next to the spread > Clear Rotation

To edit in Story Editor:

  1. Click in the story or select the text frame
  2. Edit > Edit in Story Editor

You can change the orientation in the Setup section of the Print dialogue. But I would set up a second file for printing by placing the pages from the design file into a new document and rotate the second page.

Hi

I use a third party imposition software. But manually 'flipping' every second page in Acrobat might be a quick and cheap fix for a short to medium length file.

Have you tried to print to pdf using the print booklet feature?
