I have an issue with InDesign v. 14.0.1.209 (14010) for Mac crashing over and over with no relief in sight. I can just open the program, and it will crash after a few seconds. The offending thread appears to be something called TypeQuest. I am on a 2016 MacBook Pro (new style), 3.1 i5, 16GB RAM, Iris 550 1536 MB.

Any assistance I could get would be welcome.
Here are the steps I have taken so far, each resulting in a crash:

Reset Preferences

Delete Recovery Data

Uninstall and Clean Reinstall InDesign

Run an Apple System Diagnostics

Disable all fonts

Below is the Report that I get (this is from the most recent crash):

I am having this problem too.

The only (imperfect) workaround I found is to disconnect from the Internet while working in InDesign. That helped me get some emergency deadline work done. I hope that helps you too.

Add me to the list- no solution as yet. (Mac Pro mid 2010; High Sierra 10.13.6). My crashed thread refers Typequest and to the character panel (have sent crash reports with logs via crash reporter).

Dead in the water until this is fixed.
