The QR code is just a link to something, typically a URL.

You can limit the URL with programing on the server end (for example, first 1000 customers get a discount).

A URL link just goes to a destination. What is at that distination can be changed.

If you've created the 2-D barcode, any tool that can process the QR code can scan it repeatedly, as can any number of devices with the same capabilities can scan it.

Whenever you create a QR code, scan it and make sure that it goes exactly where you want to direct anyone else who comes across it. Once you're sure of that, you can distribute it far and wide with confidence that it will direct anyone who scans it to the same exact place.

Hope this helps,

Randy
