These random horizontal lines have appeared in my InDesign project, and I can't get rid of them. They seem to only be in the grey boxes I've made using the Rectangle Tool - these are black, with the opacity lowered to 20%.
I've tried changing the colour and the opacity. The lines change colour to match the colour selected for the boxes, but when the opacity is at 100% I don't notice the lines.
I've tried turning off all the different grids and guides and also turned off anti-aliasing, but had no luck. The screenshot is taken when in Preview Screen Mode. Does anybody know how to get rid of these and what's causing them?

Do you have anything turned on in the View menu that should not be on? Maybe Grid? Maybe Baseline Grid?

Hi @Georgia29387883sf7s and @An_Gillis4017 :
As a heads up, when one of us answers a question and we don't get a response, we have to assume the issue was resolved and we move onto the next question. If an answer does not solve the problem, please let us know and we will continue to work with you to find a resolution.
For both of you:
~Barb

Assuming this isn't a system/UI glitch of some kind (which would not show up on PDF export or print, I think) —
I'd look at the Object Style and make sure it is neutral/neutralized ([None] with no overrides). It looks as if some weird, obscure effect or fill setting (Gradient? Satin?) has been applied and might be propagating to all new objects.
