Reset Hyperlinks greyed out

I am trying to reset some hyperlinks so they include the name, leader line & page number. I found this article on Creative Pro but when I select the text I want the hyperlink to be my reset hyperlink is greyed out. 

Is there a way to edit in Story editor?

I did figure out how to update the links manually with Find & Replace. A bit tedious but ! only had a few to do.
