Hello

After update to CC2020 indesign crashes whenever I try to auto adjust the inline textbox to text.

Anyone have tried this and have a workaround?

Best regards

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. Would you mind sharing some more information like:
1. Version of OS and InDesign.
2. Is it happening with a specific file or with all the files? (If it is happening with a specific document, try saving the document as IDML and try to work on it to see if it helps.)
3. Do you save files locally or on a network?
4. Have you tried resetting preferences? (If not, please try doing that. You may follow the steps provided on https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/setting-preferences.html)

**Please note that resetting preferences will remove all the custom settings and InDesign will launch with default settings. You can also take a backup of the folders in case you want to. Location is mentioned in the article.

All this information will help us understand the issue and work accordingly. Looking forward to your response.

Regards,
Ashutosh

Hi

1. I have tried to do this on both Mac os 10.14.6 and 10.15.2. Indesign version is CC2020 15.0.1 (worked fine in CC2019)

2 I found that this i happening when I have a textbox with two or more inline textboxes. The crash occures when you try to resize an inline textbox by dubbleclick on the bottom textbox handle or if I use the cmd+c.

3. Both. still crashes

4. No, but tried on 5 diffrent machines. So its not likely to be faulty prefs.

Best regards

Claus
