Is there no solution for this problem?? seems strange that pagination would not work!!
Hi,
I have made 2 indesign books, using the same indd files. Only the order / pagination needs to be different, so I want to keep the indesign files identical and only link to them, using an indesign book.
But how do I get the pagination right? I can "update" 1 book and then it's correct, but when I do, the pagination of the other book gets screwed up. They are now somehow linked to each other?
I inherated these indd files so I did not start from scratch... the books are made by me.
The indd files are set to automatic pagination (but with "start section"??) (see screenshot)
I have my book pagination set to "continue from previous" with the "automatically update" off (see screenshot)
How do I get these pagination within one book not linked to the other book?
