I'm hoping to find someone that has the knowledge and time to write a script to do the following. I’ve got a 1,000 page catalog that once flowed looks like the first image.
All the spaces between columns are created with tabs, with paragraph returns after every line.
And my goal is to add the manufacturers (Seaswirl) name above the first line it is used.
Add the year (2006) in front of the first tab
Add the Drive Code (O/B, I/O, I/B, etc.) in front of the second tab (this should only be in the first instance in the column)
Add space (Apply Style: Sailboat Line Top, which will add the space above (this is used on every line that the Year changes and every time the Drive Code changes.
The Drive Code doesn’t get added when a year changes if the Drive Code stays the same.
The manufacturer (Seaswirl) style name is: Manufacturer
The lines with no space above are named: Sailboat Line Bottom
I’m using Paragraph & Character Styles. For the text that’s being inserted in the first 2 columns. YEAR & O/B.
If this is something someone can do, please let me know and what you would charge to do this.
Thanks,
Peter
