Hi,
I'm looking for help in writing a simple script, which will parse names from www where is a list of names celebrating name days. Anybody had something similar?

Why do you think it's a simple script? And what do you mean by 'parse names from www'?

I mean – I got a www, where everyday a list of names celebrating their name day changes.
And I would like to automate getting those names to a text frame in InDesign. By clicking some button in ID for example.
Why I think it's a simple script? Because I don't know too much about writing them probably. I just thought like "hey, getting some text from www should be done by a few commands". But maybe it's not that easy if I didn't find the resolution in Google.

If you want to read names from a web page, that's not easy at all. It has been done, someone who has experience with it will jump in (I hope).

What do mean by www, is it the internet? If so, then my friend you will have to give more details where on the internet does this list exist, what is the format etc. Also fetching information from internet is not natively supported by scripts so this would definitely not be an easy task. Share the information that I asked and then we can see what can be done about it.
