Is it possible to select multiple images inside af frame with the Direct Selection tool without holding shift down while clicking on each?
You kan easily mark all the frames on a page with ctrl+A or by dragging the Selection tool over the objects. But is there also an easy way to mark all of the pictures inside the frames?
I often use this to move or scale pictures inside a frame the same, but it takes a lot of time to mark each pictures by holding shift down and click on each.
Hi @Sylle ,
yes, that's possible. It's a two-step process.
[1] Select all graphic frames that contain the images with the Direct Selection tool.
[2] Go to main menu Object > Select > Contents
( There is a keyboard shortcut for this, usually Shift + Esc )

Adding this:
In step [1] you can do the selection also with the Selection tool.
But if, for whatever reason, you need the Direct Selection tool after step [2], you have to switch from the Selection tool to the Direct Selection tool. You can do this with keyboard shortcut A.

alas, no. Direct Selection Tool's name means that it takes just one object at once.
