I just updated InDesign to the current version. Now when I place an image or draw an object, I can not move that object with the Selection Tool. I can still select it and also drag the anchors to resize it, but I cannot physically move it.
I believe this is a glitch and I feel like this has happened before but I cannot find out to fix it. And no, its not on a master layer, locked layer, or locked object. Its definitely some kind of glitch
A minor update.... I just noticed that the Direct Selection Tool is the same way. Can select, move anchor points, but cannot physically move the object. I did also just notice that I can move the objects with the arrow keys...but still not by dragging with the mouse from either the Selection or Direct Selection Tools
I am having the same issue. I can only resize but, not select and move objects. However, if I used the Free Transform Tool then I can select and move objects but not drag them to a different spread. Interestingly, the icons are reversed in view on the screen. So the Selection Tool shows the Free Transform Tool and the vice versa. Somehow these tools are being confused with eachother in the software.
