I might be missing something, but when I'm notified about new comments via email or CC the link takes me to page 1 on the web and then I have to search through all the comments for it.

On the web I can't sort comments by most recent and when I click on the link in notifications it just opens a new tab in the browser back at page 1.

This makes it very difficult to follow threads of a conversation which often happens in feedback.

Even if the comment was attributed to a Page number in the notification this would be easier to follow.

This should be a better experience, otherwise my team will just revert to PDF and endless email replies.

Hi @

We understand that navigating through comments in the Share for Review feature can be challenging. Here are some tips to help you manage feedback more efficiently:

  • When you receive an email notification about new comments, click the link to open the document in a browser.
  • To view the most recent comments, click the "Sort by" dropdown menu in the Review panel and select "Newest First".
  • To quickly find a specific comment, use the search bar in the Review panel and enter keywords related to the comment.
  • If you want to follow a conversation thread, click the "Reply" button next to the comment to add your response. This will create a new comment thread that is easier to track.
  • If you prefer to view feedback on the web, select "Manage reviews on the web" from the "More Options" menu in the Review panel. This will take you to assets.adobe.com, where you can view all the comments and replies in one place.
  • To avoid any issues with accessing review information, ensure you are using the latest InDesign version and have an Adobe ID to manage comments.

We hope these tips help you have a better experience with the Share for Review feature. If you have any further questions or feedback, please don't hesitate to contact the Adobe InDesign Community.

Thanks
Rishabh
