I can't find it in the keyboard shortcut menu. I find it hard to believe it doesn't exits.

The easiest solution would be to find a shortcut to turn the text wrap off.
But there isn't one by default, Quick Apply is no help, and it's not available for adding to custom shortcuts—except for this one somewhat compromised work-around:
Set up an Object Style with no text wrap and assign a keyboard shortcut to the style. The primary issue with that is you'll have to make it (the object style) available in any/every new document. (You don't have to remake it each time, you ca

Hi Vanessa,
it's just one click in the control panel or in the open Text Wrap Panel.
Maybe that's why.

I have automated boxes placed on my work pages. It's a pain to keep going to the menus to press it. I would love to find the shortcut.

Do these automated boxes always include a text wrap? If so, I'd start by disabling text wrapping every time a text frame is placed.

The boxes placed are done behind the scenes. I don't know what the technical terms for this is but I don't have any control of how anything is placed. I requested to have them turned off but nothing has changed. It would be a huge time saver if I could figure out the shortcut.

I'm not sure what you mean by "automated boxes," but by default, native objects do not have Text Wrap applied. If yours do, it's because the setting was activated while nothing was selected. To fix that, with nothing selected, go to the Text Wrap panel (Window > Text Wrap) and click the No text wrap button.

I work for a business. I don't build from scratch. I import a bunch of boxes in and the majority of them don't have the text wrap on. Some boxes do and it conflicts with things on my page. The easiest solution would be to find a shortcut to turn the text wrap off.

Exactly what I was about to suggest, John. Perfect.

Just a note: load Object Style with no docs opened, and it will be a new default for new documents.
