Space after Paragraph style only when followed by another specific style

Hi! I hope this makes sense:

I have set up a 'bullet one' paragraph style that after the list of bullets includes a 1 basline grid gap before the next paragraph style. I have a 'bullet two' paragraph sstyle that is more will apply to lists within the list. When I apply this style I do not want the space after bullet one to apply specifically when followed by bullet two. Is there a way to do this? without have to create a second version of the bullet one style.

You cant put a negative number in the space before command for bullet two but this is kind of what Im after? Im using InDesign 18.5.1

Unfortunatly they are not. They both have different type settings and bullet styles.

I think I found a work around but its a bit of a cheat way. If you set the 'bullet two' style so that the leading is LESS THAN the basline grid it will shift the bullets up to get rid of the gap. You have to make sure the lines all align to the baseline grid still though. Seems like its worked across the document but there must be a better way.

If you want to have a different result you will need a different paragraph style.

If both paragraph styles are identical apart from the extra space after the last entry in the bulleted list, you can you set the "Space between paragraphs using same style" to 0. For simple cases this works.

Can you set the Space After for 'bullet one' to 0 and Space Between Paragraphs Using Same Style to the required spacing between two bullet one lists?

Could you post a sample-document (saved in .idml and with/without your trick)?
