Lost the space please see below images can help you to understand the issue.
CS6 Images see highlighted in yellow
CC Image: See end of the line Space lost in CC 2019. CS6 to CC used IDML for conversion.
Hi sanjeevak52564269,
hm. The screenshot is showing an object style. Even if that object style is applied to the text frame there could be a manual override. So better check the text frame options of that individual text frame for auto size settings.

Did you try opening the original file directly in CC 2019 (not using IDML)?

Why did you use IDML? It forces all text into the new version's text engine. That may be a good thing or a bad thing.
Open the INDD file that was created in CS6 and see how it opens. Then try editing any of the text and see how it behaves. Typically, doing this will force the text to be recomposed in that story.

Hi,
is the frame's width still the same after you opened the IDML file with InDesign CC 2019?
From your screenshot I see that the gap between the two frames is different in width.
Might be that autosize of the frame options is turned on and is calculating a different width of the text frame in CC 2019.
