I'm trying to strip certain characters (Unicode character ranges) from my running headers. So I have set up a character style "invisible" (Vertical Scale 1%; Character Color None), and in the running header paragraph style I then tried to apply "invisible" via Grep Style to the text "[\x{0591}-\x{05C0}\x{05C3}\x{05F3}\x{002A}]+" (without the quotes). (Testings in the body text show that both the grep string and the character style are correct.) Surprisingly, however, there is no change in the running headers. Why?
I see. Running InDesign CC 2018 now, I suppose it's time for another update of PowerHeader.

As a last resort, I was hoping to simply delete these characters once the page breaks are final, but it seems you can't Find/Change anything in the running headers paragraph style even with Include Master Pages turned on.
