Swiping sideways

Hi there,

I'm creating a book in landscape format.

I'm trying to export a pdf so that, rather than swiping up or down to move from spread to spread or page to page through the document, I want the viewer to swipe sideways.

There is a thread from 2018 saying that it was not possible in 2018 - I'm hoping things have changed.

Is this possible to define this within InDesign and, if so, how, please?

I don't think it will work. There may be a way to set it up in Adobe Acrobat with scripting. But each PDF reader will have it's own way of previewing PDF files and there is absolutely no consistency.
