Hello, I am trying to create a document that shows the section number on each page like the screenshot below while the table of contents displays only the page number. For each page in the document I am using these settings to display the page number in a [Chapter.Section-PageNumber] format
However I want the table of contents to show like the Introduction chapter below with only the page number instead of with the section number like the Existing Conditions chapter.
Is there a way to eliminate the section prefixes from the table of contents while keeping it for the document pages?

I can't really sort out what's going on except that you seem to be trying to combine two sorts of page numbering, and it's not working very well. The first page of your second section, for example, is either Page 18, or Page 2-1. Choose one and the TOC issues should sort themselves out.

Thank you for your response. The first page of my second section is Chapter 2, Section 1, Page 18. I wanted to number my document pages in [Chapter.Section-PageNumber] format so I used section prefixes to define the Section number (I did not use section prefixes in my first chapter to show the difference in how I want the TOC page numbers to appear).
Using section prefixes allows the section number to show on the document pages but also makes it appear in the TOC so I was wondering if there was a way to show section numbers on the document pages but not on the TOC.
