Text box frame appearing in PDF print export

New Here ,
Jan 10, 2021 Jan 10, 2021

Hi,

Can someone please help me with the query below...

I've set a transparency flattner preset to high res (that I cannot revert back from) as I thought this would help me with my issue of the grey faint text box frames appearing when I export to PDF print.

I've tried everything and nothing is working :(! I have tried different views and exporting using the various standard versions and presets.

I just need the boxes to not appear when exported.

Thank you

Ah, that helps. You have a stroke applied to the frames.

Select the frame and set the stroke to zero. Make sure you don't have an object style applied and with nothing at all selected in the file, set the stroke to zero to avoid it happening, again.

Not enough info. What version of InDesign? What operating system? What are your PDF export settings?

Screenshots might help, too.

If you're exporting to PDF/X1-a, though, stop doing that and use PDF/X4.

Thanks for the quick response Bob 🙂

Please see below screenshot

I have tried viewing this on Acrobat app and Microsoft Edge web pdf reader and the boxes display on both of these.

My operating system is Windows 10 Pro.

I have exported using PDF/X4 and this still doesn't make a difference.

Thanks

Thanks so much Bob!

Sorry to trouble you with another query - I am struggling to place a PNG image into my document. It is appearing only as a white box?

Thanks
