Text Frame Missing and Work Disappearing in InDesign - 'Story Text Begins - R25' Error

i am getting a problem with my indesign file. suddenly my document came out and after I reopened the text frame my work disappeared and a notification appeared. Story text begins - R25. Has anyone experienced this and can provide a solution? Thank You!

Sorry to hear about the issue with your text frame. Could you please share the version of InDesign you're using and your operating system details? Also, is this issue happening with a specific file, or have you seen it with other files as well?

It would be helpful if you could create a screen recording demonstrating the entire workflow leading up to the error message so we can better understand the issue and provide a solution.

What happens, when you save your file as iDML (don't delete the frame), open that and save as INDD?

I'm not quite clear on what you are saying, but it sounds tom me as if your file crashed and when you reopened it you received the invalid text frame error message.

If that's the case I suspect the file is damamged and that any text in that frame and story is probably unrecoverable, but I would try clicking the "No" button first to see what happens. I would also immediately export the file to .idml, open that and save as a new .indd file with a new name and see if if was able to fix the error.
