Hi everyone, I’m having trouble aligning text perfectly across multiple columns in InDesign. Even though I’ve set up equal column widths and margins, the baselines don’t seem to line up evenly from one column to the next. Is there a specific setting or technique I should use to make sure the text aligns consistently across all columns on the page? Any guidance would be appreciated!

The leading needs to be the same on all lines. Paragraph spacing needs to either be the same as the leading or at zero. Different fonts can cause a problem too, even at the same size.
If that doesn't fix it, you will need to look into using grids--either baseline or text frame.

Hi @smith_8480,
That's great to hear the problem's been solved. Could you please share what exactly helped fix it? It'll be really useful for others who might face the same alignment issue in the future.
Thanks for taking a moment to drop your solution here.
Abhishek
