Text Wrap in Footnote

Explorer ,
Nov 18, 2019 Nov 18, 2019

Hey I am new to InDesign, so I hope you can help me with this.

I have some text in a footnote with a QR-Code aside it. So the text should wrap the QR-Code.

The possibilities I found till to achieve this now are anchoring the QR-Code to a place in the footnote, then text wrap does not work at all.

Or I have to place it manually, then text wrap works, but the footnote itself is still not adapting the QR-Code´s size. (And of course the QR-Code is not flowing with the text.)

It would be great to combine these options, so the QR-Code stays completeley inside the footnote. There is some example with a picture in this manual: https://helpx.adobe.com/de/indesign/using/footnotes.html#placing-footnote

But I haven´t figured out how to do this... can you help me here?

I use InDesign 15.0 on Windows 10.

Hi Martin,

give the QR-Code its own paragraph.

Then all text that comes after that paragraph will will wrap the anchored QR-Code.

Text before will not wrap. That's how InDesign is working.

Thanks now I have a single line of 0.1pt above the first line of text 😉

I didn´t even know there is an option to insert lines manually in footnotes.

Well I think, this is a good solution, thanks a lot!
