A color palette with the same name, with paragraph styles copied from the outside into the document,
Will a new name of name-2 be generated if the name is not overwritten by the local name?
Where do you want to modify it?
I still prefer the habit of inheriting local documents.

I'm not really sure what you're referring to here

 

There is a new preference in InDesign try toggling the option 

 

I know it says when placing or pasting content - but I've found instances of when the old data is still referenced outside of placing and pasting.
