Two numberings in a single page

Hi, I want to number a series of pictures over an already numbered document. Is it possible to apply to different numberings onto a single page. If so, how?

Not entirelyclear what you want to do, but it's likely that adding a text frame for your image number using a paragraph style that is a numbered list will do the trick.
