Unable to export PDF with ISO Coated v2 color profile from InDesign 2020 on macOS Mojave.

New Here ,
Dec 13, 2019 Dec 13, 2019

I am printing a PDF w/a specific color profile:

ISO Coated v2 for internatinoal files. Other color profiles work,

but I can't get this one to work.

I have tried creating PDF from idml file, I put DisableAsyncExports.txt in the MAC OS folder and I can't

get this color profile to work. And I turned off Preflight.

using indesign 15.0.1 & 14.0.3.433 and mac OS mojave 10.14.6

Please advise.

HI Glen,

So sorry to hear about this issue. Could you please confirm which PDF preset you are using to export PDF? Try Exporting with PDF/X‑4 (2008) and share your observations.

Regards,

Srishti

If you don't share the specifications you used for exporting and the messages you get when trying is a bit of a guess work. "but I can't get this one to work." means?

Just to clarify—you say the problem is with printing the PDF. Does that mean you have a PDF that you are trying to print from Acrobat, or does it mean you are trying to create a PDF via the InDesign Print command, and you are not using Export?
