Upon opening random INDD files, INDD freezes (never-ending spinning wheel)

For some files, it works fine, for other files, it simply freezes and never loads.  I don't have any other way to describe this and I have absolutely no idea why this happens.  It feels completely at random.  There is one consistency, however, if a file won't open, it never will, it will always cause INDD to freeze.  Please help!

Additional Info:

- Purchased INDD file from Envato Market
- Other files which do work were also purchased from Envato

On rare occasion, it will freeze upon startup as well.

Trying different version on the same machine might not help in this case. It's picking the links from the same location or trying to. You can try one more thing, create a new user account on this machine (admin) and then try to open the file.

I'm going to try creating a new user and see if that helps.

Interesting thing...I do have INDD files that DO WORK.  It's crazy, there are some INDD files which do not work, and some that do.  I am using one that does right now.  I wonder what this could mean...

If it's happening with specific files, it could be something related to that file. May be some links, fonts, etc.
