Variable TTF font looks distorted on InDesign

New Here ,

Hello. I am trying to create a type specimen/proof for my variable TTF on InDesign, however it looks distorted or glitched out on certain styles. The same styles look alright when used on web, or on FontGoggles (which I use to test my variable fonts usually), however on InDesign it is distorted. It is also distorted on Illustrator as well, but in different shapes. I already tried changing the Display Performance settings and restarting InDesign (and my computer) but nothing changed. I am starting to suspect that it is due to internal font hinting done by the software (because it looks fine on other programs), however I dont know how to turn hinting off. Please help!!

What's the source/foundry for the font that's glitching?
