View PDF as spread but print as single pages

Is it possible to export my PDF as a spread, but have it print in single pages?

I want my pages to be viewed side by side, but if someone wants to print, it needs to print as a full page and not 2 on one page.

It needs to be viewed as a spread in all browsers and not just Adobe Acrobat, so changing the initial view will not work for this.

My workaround suggestion: use Publish Online. The online document can be spreads, with a single page PDF as the download file to use for print.

Bear in mind many people are reading documents nowadays on tablets and smart phones, so it might be worth creating the reading version as a single page continuous Interactive PDF with navigation buttons.

You can if you export as these settings. But you're relying on the person having Acrobat Reader or Acrobat Professional. 3rd Party PDF readers may not be able to view it this way.
