White thin line appears on edge of pdf page after Indesign CC export

Hi.  In Indesign, I added a solid blue rectangle that is flush with the left edge of the page and then exported the document as a PDF in Indesign.  If I open/look at the pdf document in the chrome browser, IE browser, older versions of Acrobat reader like acrobat xi, or even other PDF readers like Foxit PDF reader, the white line does not appear and the document appears correctly.  But, as soon as I open the document in Acrobat reader DC or Acrobat Pro DC, I see the thin white line on the left edge of the page where the solid rectangle was placed in Indesign.  I have used all combinations of export settings in Indesign but this problem still persists.  What do I have to do to fix this issue?  I read that I have to turn off the "2D acceleration" option in the page display section in preferences of Acrobat DC, but I don't have such an option. Again, this issue only occurs in Acrobat reader DC or Acrobat Pro DC. I have Acrobat Pro DC version 2017.012.20098.  I have included screenshots below. Thanks for your replies.

Video Card: Intel HD graphics 3000 with up to 1696MB total graphics memory

White line in Acrobat Pro DC:

You can see the white line on the left edge as well as on the top and bottom of the solid blue rectangle.

In Acrobat Reader XI 11.0.10:

You can see that there is no white line on the left edge of the page.

Did you extend the blue rectangle into the bleed area? You should do so.

Yes, I have also tried extending the blue rectangle into the bleed area by expanding it into the paste board area but still the problem persists.

I have turned off these two preferences, but that doesn't fix the issue.

I meant I'll post to the other forums too, but I have also tried zooming in and out, but the problem does not go away.  However, viewing the pdf document in acrobat pro DC in full screen mode removes the white lines.  The full screen mode shows the document in a black background.  The ideal solution would be to have the white lines removed during normal viewing modes. Thanks for your suggestion though.

Try changing to the Dark Theme—looks like the Light theme always displays a page trim even when the Show bleed trim boxes preference is off.

In Acrobat DC, that's View > Display Theme > Dark Gray if you're having trouble finding it.

I changed the theme to dark gray, but now there is a dark charcoal gray line instead of a white line showing. However, it's hardly noticeable.  I suppose this is the best solution, but it's a user initiated settings change which not all users would have the sense to make.  It would be great if I could do something different in Indesign that would make the white line disappear under the default viewing settings in Acrobat DC. Perhaps it's a bug in Acrobat? Thanks.

I don't think so. AcrobatPro is a print application, so you want to see the trim box when reviewing documents.

Does the thickness of the white line seem to change or stay the same as you zoom in? Some things that seem like a problem at one view magnification turn out to disappear at another.
