Why can I not is my file size in my info panel?

Hello im trying to do an advertisment due today and my info panel doesn't want to work probarly. It doesn't want to show my file size for my documeant.

Ps: I've already did an update in indesign.

Hi, the info panel displays informations about objects in your file (frame size, kind of imported image, number of words, characters in a text frame), not info about the file itself.

If you need to know the file size, check informations in your operating system.

You are correct that the document information would show up in CC 2019 with nothing selected, and it is no longer working in 2020. Please file a bug report here https://indesign.uservoice.com/, and reference this thread.

 

CC 2019:

In the meantime, you can right+click the filename > Reveal in Finder to see the Location, Last Modified and File Size and use File > Info to the see the author. Hopefully it won't take long too get this fixed.
