Why is the darker blue line on the edge of the table on the left side but then on the inside of the edge on the right side?
Looks to me that on the right side the text frame containing the table is not pulled out beyond the table. The left side of the table is flush with the left side of the text frame that the table is sitting in. (Tables are always inside, kind of "anchored," in a text frame.)

Hi bschaefer6,
tables can always leave the bounds of a text frame. It depends on the width of the table, the width of the text frame and the justification of the paragraph where the table begins. Some samples from my German InDesign 2022 below where I show the same table running through two text frames with different widths:
Table in a paragraph that is left aligned:
