Why isn't EXPORT SPREADS a thing?

Can this not be a command in the next update? Print spread is there. The obvious next thing would be export spread I would think? Or is there another way to do this currently?

.jpg or perhaps a .png. But just a quick export command for the current spread to easily share with a client or publish quickly on whatever you might be using.

then, it's probably better to share a story, not just a spread, and in PDF, not jpeg format, as PDF might be much smaller in size, and all that can be fairly easily made with a script right now

Whenever I want to export, just use Command/Control E for Export, choose your format (pdf, jpg, etc.), and then choose the page numbers you want. You can export as a spread or as single pages. That gets the job done, with maybe one more step than your preference, but it offers much more flexibility.
