Changing colour of bullet points

Using bulleted lists as a style, I can't see how to change just the colour of the bullet without changing the text colour as well. Am I missing something, or isn't it possible?

Notice the little drop-down that says "character style?" Use that to assign a style that changes the color.

you can select CharacterStyle in BulletsAndNumbering section in ParaStyle definition.
