I have a 200 page document with unique text and image frames on each page. I've been working on it for a couple months, but today as I was scrolling through to check layouts, I noticed that some of elements that were there hours ago are now gone. This includes text frames and image frames. Not all the elements on a page are gone, and the elements aren't in any way related.

I'm on Windows 10.

Thanks in advance!

It sounds like you may have a corrupted document. Do you keep backups? I hope you do because you may need them if you have a severely corrupted file.

You may be able to remove corruption if you save your file as an IDML file as described here:

Clean corrupt files by exporting to .IDML or .INX
