Dear EPUB professionals can please someone tell if EPUB produced in InDesign published on Kindle will be fully supported by this platform (Kindle). In simple words what I mean is if the animations, videos and sounds will cause no problem for the reader to download and read the book?
Looking forward to read your reply,
Lena

You're need to do and prepare from your epub to .mobi for Amazon.

But, Supported eBook Formats | Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing
here you can find that Amazon can receive it epub too:
>> We support unzipped ePub files. Before uploading, we recommend validating the file with Kindle Previewer
>> You can also validate the file by using this ePUB checker tool

Thank you very much, George, for your reply.

As mentioned by George, test your book on the Kindle Previewer. And be prepared to be disappointed: no javascript, no gif animation, not even transparency support for images. All interactivity added by InDesign will not work, be broken, and at worst be removed.
If you want or need a highly interactive ebook or "digital play book", epub isn't really the answer anyway. Reader support is still quite spotty, and even on the Mac's iBook reader various limitations regarding interactive content limit the scope of interactivity.
In these cases it would be preferable to convert to an actual app, in my opinion. This can be done manually (requires some coding experience and knowledge about Cordova), or with something like In5 for InDesign (which costs money).
