I have lots of Indd files with me, is there any way, that I can find in text without opening indd files? In finder search .doc, .pdf, and some files are supported, but there is no option for indd files, rather then open it, and use the find and replace dialog box.
pls guide.

Here's a YouTube tutorial on using Bridge: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxQVkVOoO0U
You can download Adobe Bridge via the Creative Cloud app.

Hi Derek,
I think Adobe Bridge can't find text inside indesign file.

Vladan is correct in that Bridge can't search InDesign content. It's great for searching file information (file name, etc) and metadata, including swatches and fonts used in documents, but it can't find text in InDesign stories. Markzware apparently used to have an app that could, but it has been discontinued.
You could use a script to search text in an InDesign file, but there's a lot of other stuff to slog through, you would need to target a group of files, and each would need to be searched individually. It would not be a very efficient solution.
Haven't seen a Mac solution, but if you have Parallels or some other VM software to run Windows on your Mac, you could use Agent Ransack.
