I cannot activate Adobe Fonts in InDesign. I can only use what is on My computer. What can I do to correct this problem? Is there a different way to access Adobe fonts?
This said: Currently, this goes for some days now, I'm not able to check my activated Adobe fonts through the Creative Cloud Desktop application. Only get this, hours for hours:
Does something similar happen to you?

what did you try exactly?
To make Adobe Fonts available you could go to this website, if not logged in with your Adobe ID log in and activate fonts:
