Hi,

I have a script set up to run a bunch of forms.

My exported PDF only allows for TAB to move to the next block when entering account no's.

How do I setup "fill in your account no. blocks" without the user having to press TAB before moving to the next block?

what is your exact version of InDesign on what operating system?

Can your task be achieved with InDesign's feature set without using a script?
And if yes, could you show a screenshot of the function?

Can that be done with Acrobat's form feature at all?

I think, moving on to the next block requires pressing TAB.

It sounds to me like you're looking to create a "comb" field.

Acrobat has comb fields which separate each number or character into a separate box or block.

Is that what you mean?

Yes, It is a comb field.

I'd like to set it up directly from Indesign instead of Acrobat.

I'm running the forms off a script and going into each pdf to set up comb would be a nightmare.

I cannot even find how to set up Acrobat in Indesign to spit out the forms with comb fields.

You can't set comb fields in InDesign natively. It's something you'd have to do afterwards, each time, in Acrobat. Yes, it's a nightmare....
